I kicked off the New Year with an exclusive mix from the
Home Assembly recording artist who makes beautifully
crafted, intricately detailed, organic/electronic instrumentals.
The music created by Mike Cottone aka The Green Kingdom
recalls Garden favourites, Susumu Yokota and The Boats
and his incredibly chilled mix tonight eased you gently into 2011.

14th : RAZ ~ mix

Captain Raz Razzle presented us with a fine and hearty
mix last summer and it be no, yo ho ho joke that this new
mix be his finest for the show yet. It was my problem to try
and follow it, but I did me best me hearties, ooh arrrr!

21st : ADAM DONEN ~ in session

Armed with a guitar and a suitcase full of tricks, in his
shades with Dylanesque hair, Mr. D crossed our carpark
to join me in the studio for an acoustic Gardening session.
He rolled out four numbers tonight, including exclusive
and fresh material from his forthcoming album.

28th : DEMDIKE STARE ~ mix

Their current triple disc was my album of the month and it
was a pleasure to round off January with an exclusive mix by
this prolific duo. Dark, atmospheric and an hour long, I kept the
groove mellow with a mix of my own.

11th : SNIPPET ~ mix

Tonights mix was brought to you by Snippet, a shed dweller
for so many years that his instruments have actually begun
to shrink! His selection of music for you included Kate Bush
XTC and Beck as well as some of his own lovely songs,
if you missed him tonight you can now listen to his mix.
18th : AMBIENT ~ mix

Following last months mix by Demdike Stare I found I still
had plenty of new ambient electronica I didn't get a chance
to play out. So tonight I was spinning new releases by the likes
of Transept, Deaf Center, Lost Idol and Balmorhea as well as
choice tunes of old, the mood was dark but the vibes were good.
25th : TESTBILD! ~ in session

It was with great pleasure that I was able to bring you
this session tonight from one of Sweden's most beautiful
and beguiling new bands. They are signed to UK label
Folkwit Records and have recorded four exclusive tunes for
the show. Their last album Aquatint was one of my
favourites of 2010 and you can hear why I rate them
so highly by listening to the whole mix here.

10 years strong this eclectic collective of DJs,
musicians and artists based in Milton Keynes mix up
