This mix from Kieran Hebden was due for broadcast
last month but was postponed until tonight
as I was pretty poorly back then, but...
"I got better"
Mr Hebden mixed up selections from Burial and
Liquid Liquid with New York Community Choir
which would probably have sounded daft in lesser
hands. I too went "off on the mix" which turned
the whole show into a bit of a sound-clash, woooh!

Exclusive semi-acoustic session for the show which
was recorded as they passed through the city on their
recent UK tour. Marble Valley are fronted by Steve West
{the chap in the scarf} who used to be in Pavement.
I played some nice new music around their tunes but
I could not resist digging out tracks from
Wowee Zowee & Gary Young it was just inevitable.

The internet was down tonight so there was
no broadcasting on the station this evening.
But I saved it for June, please see below!

The second mix for the show from one of the
most fucked up music promotors in Milton Keynes.
He has a very twisted sense of humour and a lot of
wEiRd vinyl which he spinned with gay abandon tonight.
I for one appreciated just how far he pushed his luck!

This great mix was originally broadcast via the Purple Radio
in April and then postponed from last month due to technical
difficulties. But it finally arrived tonight lovingly
remixed and buffed up especially for you by
ex Back of the Bucket mainman Melvin Pickles.

A beautiful new ambient mix to start the month of June
courtesy of composer/producer Richard Caswell, perhaps
better known as The Howard Hughes Suite. He did an
excellent mix for the show some years ago and returned after an absence of 18 months with 2 new albums,
'Something Borrowed, Something Blue' and 'Billets-Doux'
both of which are available to order from here.

Following on from the Pink Floyd mix I recorded in '08
comes my fresh mix featuring many PF tunes you will not
have heard played like this before! Featuring Trance remixes
and instrumental mixes of well known album tracks along
with several great suprises, it was all broadcast live
into your living room direct from the heart of The Garden.

Tonight I presented a fine mix from gifted producer,
record label boss, songwriter, engineer and yes,
DJ, Jay Haze. He mixed up a selection of House,
Techno and that old stand-by eclectic exotica into
a groovy stew which has also been released as a proper
CD with all proceeds going to charity, mate.
