what happened in October
3rd : AMBIENT ~ mix

I gently kicked off the month with a selection of fluffy
minimalist beats and electronic mellowness and mixed them
up into a soft stew that I hope left you floating in the aisles.

24th : GRASSCUT ~ session

Ninja Tune recording artistes Grasscut performed
four tunes for show this evening and I played some
nice music around them. Download the whole darn thing.
17th : THE GARDEN of DUB ~ mix II

Originally due to be broadcast last month but changed at
the last minute I managed to persuade a guest presenter to
come in and mix up some thunderous dubs which would slay ya!
His exclusive mix is available to download here and you
can still download my own Garden of Dub I mix here
                            10th : POCKET MAGNETIC ~ mix

Tonight I presented another exclusive mix for the show which
this time came from an Electronica Wizard who hails from Plymouth.
He recently released his 2nd album and you could hear tracks
from it mixed with some of his favourites. You can of course still
download it if you wish right here

1st : HAROLD NONO ~ mix

He is no stranger to The Garden as this is probably his 4th
or 5th mix for the show, to tell you the truth I've lost count!
What I do know is that he has a new album out, I have never
seen an actual photo of him and that his mixes are always excellent.

8th : PAVEMENTED ~ mix

There was a new LP of Pavement cover versions released
this month so I played some of my favourites tracks from it
along with tunes from the various other tribute records that
have appeared over the years into a lovely Pavementey mix.
Download it baby, yeah!
15th : TAMARYN ~ mix

The San Francisco-based duo of Tamaryn and producer
Rex John Shelverton released their incredible album The Waves
last month and have created a special mix for you tonight.
Featuring some of their favourite artists from Dominant Legs
and Black Ryder to Dangerous Boys Club, you'd dig it to bits.

                                   22nd : THE BEATLES ~ mix

Tonights mix was gear and mostly fab, indeed it was
simply a selection of covers by some old band from Liverpool.
I mixed in some obscure Macca tracks and the odd Ringo
ditty but no Wings or Wilburys thats for sure, for this mix
I just let it be soulful covers, which was sound.

29th : DALMATION REX ~ in session

Carrying on that soulful vibe tonight, my session guests were
Dalmation Rex & The Eigentones, to give them their full name.
They proved they certainly have more soul than David Soul
by performing no less than four exclusive songs for us this evening.
